What store credit is

Store credit is a digital balance that can be used toward purchases on Ember & Bloom. It is issued to your account and applied at checkout.

Types of store credit

We issue two types of store credit:

  • Promotional store credit: credit you earn through offers such as signup, purchase incentives, or other promotions.

  • Refund store credit: credit we issue to you in connection with returns, cancellations, or other adjustments.

Store credit is issued only to the account and email address that earned or received it and cannot be transferred.

Eligibility and misuse prevention

Promotional store credit is issued only when eligibility conditions are met, which may include requirements such as specific products, purchase timing, or other conditions stated at the time of the offer.

We may limit credits per person, household, account, device, or order to prevent misuse. If we detect fraud, automation, repeat claims, chargeback abuse, or misuse, we may deny, pause, revoke, or cancel store credit and related orders.

When credit is issued

  • Some credits are issued instantly.

  • Cashback or purchase-based promotional credit is typically issued within 7 days after the qualifying purchase.
    Timing may vary due to verification and processing.

How credit is used

  • Store credit can be used on eligible items sold on emberandb.com.

  • Credit is applied at checkout and reduces the amount payable.

  • If the order total is lower than your available credit, the remaining balance stays in your account for future use.

Combining store credit with discounts

Store credit can be used together with discount codes, unless a specific offer explicitly states otherwise.

Returns, cancellations, and adjustments

If your order is cancelled or returned, and we issue you refund store credit, it will be issued as store credit to your account.

If promotional store credit was issued based on a qualifying order and that order is later returned, cancelled, refunded, or charged back, we may revoke the promotional credit that depended on that order.

No cash value

Store credit is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Expiry and where to check it

  • Refund store credit does not expire.

  • Promotional store credit expires 365 days after it is issued, except where prohibited by law or where a longer period is required.

Your current balance and any expiration dates can be checked in your Account profile.

Account requirement

To access and use store credit, you must sign in using the same email address that earned or received the credit.
